Vedica Art Studios and Gallery, based in Mumbai, is delighted to showcase its collection at the Noise Media Art Fair, held at Palais Festetics in Vienna’s 9th District from 12th to 15th September 2024. The gallery will be presenting its exhibition at Gallery 12 within the fair. The Noise Media Art Fair is meticulously organized by Zehra Begüm Kışla, who oversees the comprehensive curation of the event, ensuring a diverse and engaging presentation of media art from around the world. Visitors are warmly invited to explore the gallery's booth, where they can experience the innovative and thought-provoking works of featured artists Joseph O’Connell and Bôba Mènde.

 

The exhibition includes the notable works of Joseph O’Connell and Bôba Mènde. Joseph O’Connell, hailing from Arizona, USA, is renowned for his monumental and interactive installations. His piece "Multiple Selves" provides an immersive experience through kinetic and light-based elements, allowing visitors to engage interactively and explore the interplay of perception and technology. Another work, "Chromanova," is a model designed to envelop viewers within a transformative experience of light and optical effects, inviting them to perceive art from various angles. Each piece exemplifies O’Connell’s mastery in creating compelling, sensory environments. Bôba Mènde from Kassel, Germany, is also featured in the exhibition with his groundbreaking project "Docutopia." This interactive, web-based platform facilitates connections between individuals globally, bridging offline and online interactions. The project reflects Mènde’s dedication to creating spaces for meaningful engagement and dialogue.

 

The presentation at Gallery 12 is thoughtfully curated by Cecilia Federici, an accomplished Art Historian and Sales Consultant with Vedica Art Studios and Gallery. Federici’s expertise in contemporary art ensures that the works are exhibited in a manner that highlights their innovative qualities and engages the audience effectively.

 

The Noise Media Art Fair, a continuation of Vienna Contemporary 2024, gathers 16 prominent galleries in the newly opened Palais Festetics.
